Job Description

As a result of growth, this newly created Finance Analyst position is a great opportunity for a fluent French speaker to join a thriving team. My client is looking for a part-qualified Finance Analyst with strong experience of the full cycle of accounting and financial analysis.Client DetailsMy client is an international Media Company with ambitious plans for expansion. Their European head office is based in Clerkenwell, City of London.DescriptionAs the French Speaking Finance Analyst you will be responsible for the following:

  • Assist Controller to prepare and maintain revenue recognition schedules in order to provide revenue entries to the accounting team
  • Assist in review all client contracts and agreements for completeness and final customer signing
  • Investigate and conduct appropriate variance analyses on all areas based on deviations of actual results vs. budget/reforecast
  • Assist in the development of short and long-term strategic plans for the company
  • Work with departments, units, and branch offices in the development of the annual budget and reforecast
  • Prepare management and executive reports to support and control income and expenses against DACs short and long-term financial plans
  • Assist Controller with monthly sales analysis
  • Complete required bookkeeping and prepare all documentation and working paper schedules to facilitate completion of year-end review
  • Assist Controller with any ad-hoc financial requests
    • ProfileTo be considered for this French Speaking Finance Analyst role you must have the following:
  • Fluent French (essential)
  • Fluent in Spanishand German (desirable)
  • Minimum 3 year of accounting/finance experience (essential)
  • Experience with Spanish, UK, France financial reporting, taxes and regulatory compliance (desirable)
  • Experience with MS Dynamics Great Plains (desirable)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
