FP&A Manager, Global Digital Communications

Job Description

Altum are pleased to partner with a global digital communications company to find them a FP&A Manager. Reporting in to the Group Commercial Finance Director you will support the Group Director on business performance, working with executive stakeholdersto drive business growth. Further, you will work across the finance team and cross functionally to embed best practice and sound commercial behaviours in all parts of the business.This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in the Media space to be part of an established company going through a period of extensive growth, offering excellent benefits and career trajectory.Key Responsibilities

  • Weekly and monthly management reporting of revenue and cost performance to the Executive.
  • Own monthly and quarterly forecasting and the annual budgeting process for all commercial revenues and costs.
  • Manage business planning and reforecasting, working with stakeholders to set the business strategic objectives, reporting outcomes to the Board.
  • Provide insight into business performance in terms of underlying drivers which explain variances to business plans, budgets and forecasts. Support decision making by preparing financial analysis and business cases.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders, explaining financial data and driving strong communication.
  • Performance reporting including updating P&Ls and monthly KPIs
  • Updating and maintaining the traffic driven advertising revenue model for quarterly forecasting.
  • Working alongside the Data team to develop and maintain dashboards for the Exec team and wider business.
Key Skills
  • Experience in FP&A in a fast moving SaaS or media environment, business partnering with senior department leads, budgeting and forecasting, reporting, analysis and insight.
  • Strong business partner with ability to communicate financial insights clearly and simply to non-accountants: verbally, visually and in writing.
  • Strong numerical and financial analysis skills; able to identify trends, patterns and drivers from financial data.
  • Excellent Excel and financial modelling skills; experience using Adpoint, Domo or SUN Systems would be an advantage.
  • Qualified accountant, ideally CIMA or ACA.
