Job Description

Stanton House is exclusively partnering with a PE Backed retailer in Devon to recruit an Interim FP&A Lead. This high-end luxury brand, which recently received investment from a reputable PE Fund has been growing rapidly over the last few years and theirproduct is highly desired across the globe. With a revenue of £250m+ and an appetite to grow through M&A over the coming years, the CFO is seeking a highly talented commercial professional who can provide insight to the business in order for market opportunitiesto be maximized.The day rate is £700pd - £750pd (Outside IR35) and expenses will be paid (travel and accommodation)Reporting directly to the CFO, you will be responsible for:

  • Business partner with the regional directors and the leadership to review company performance and drive sales optimization
  • Reconstruct the Excel-based financial business model, utilize data from various sources and software tools to form a strategic model for up to 5 years. This model will deliver a full three-statement financial pack and ancillary analysis.
  • Own the budgeting and forecasting process from end to end.
  • Identify risks to the financial plan and direct the leader team to where the weaknesses are
  • Be the lead contact on reporting of companywide data packs to the PE owners
  • Develop and mentor members of the finance team to ensure that knowledge is shared across the team (finance team of circa 35)
  • Support preparation of management accounts
To be suitable, you must have the following:
  • Qualified Accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA)
  • Previously worked in manufacturing is essential
  • Strong background in FP&A and comfortable building models from scratch.
  • Proven business partner with a background in influencing and challenging exec stakeholders.
  • Power BI experience would be highly desirable but not essential.
  • Able to be on-site in Devon 3 days a week (direct train from London Paddington)
