On behalf of this organisation, AMS are looking for a Forex / FX Trading Assistant for a 12 Month contract based in Marylebone, London. Purpose of the Role: This role will provide day to day support to the tradingand sales desk and coverage of EMEA FXLM sales and trading desks. As a Forex / FX Trading Assistant you will be responsible for: Performing day to day tasks in-line with the daily task list Manual option expiries; Liaising with traders, brokers, interbankcounterparties and sales to process the expiries for vanilla and exotic options. Maintaining rates + running vectors + NDFs; Get the rates from oficial sources (maintain Excel s/s to retrieve the rates), upload the rates in SOHO, run the vectors, fix all NDFsin FXT (possible manual calculation for crosses) Booking (ICAT, Broker, FXT, Compression); Manual booking of ICAT tickets for sales/traders in SFO, manual booking from chat to SFO for non STP broker trades, manual split or rebooking in FXT obo sales, bulkbooking for Compression exercises EOD checks + controls; POOPC, closing rates in FXT, NDF all fixed, rates all saved, technical counterparty in FXT/SFO, ICAT booked, email for passing books Ensure amendments and cancellations done are done in a controlledmanner and any pnl impact communicated to front office Maintain segregation of duties with front office by not making price, entering into trades directly and booking into non-permitted portfolios Direct contribution to BNPP operational permanent control frameworkby following desk procedures and escalating incidents to management What we require from the candidate: Prior FX / Forex Trading Experience Essential Investment Banking / Financial Services Experience Knowledge of Bloombergs, Reuters, EBS desirable Attentionto detail, discipline and accurate when performing tasks Able to multitask and work in a fast paced environment Good team player and embraces diversity Self motivated, willing to invest in self and positive mindset Strong technical skills especially on excel,digital platforms If you are interested in applying for this position and meet the criteria outlined above, please click the link to apply and we will contact you with an update in due course.
