Job Description

Summary Do you enjoy supervising and leading a talented, enthusiastic, passionate team Are you a customer focussed individual wanting to provide exceptional customer service If so this role could be for you.Hours: This is a fulltime role with 37.50 hoursper weekSalary: £20988 per annum. The salary advertised is inclusive of an additional Outer London Weighting allowance of £2,690 per annum.Contract: Permanent roleWhat its like to work here Morden Hall Park is green oasis in the city, giving you a taste ofa country estate with a glimpse of its agricultural and industrial history. This tranquil former deer park is one of the few remaining estates that used to line the River Wandle during its industrial heyday.The river meanders through the park creating a havenfor wildlife. The snuff mills, which generated the parks income in the past, survive to this day. Weve renovated the western mill, and its now used as a learning centre.A much-loved rural idyll, the park lies in a built-up area, and some of the survivingestate buildings are used as workshops by local craftspeople and artisans. The renovated Stable Yard is the heart of the park with a caf, second-hand bookshop and a living green centre with exhibitions.What youll be doing Youll love leading a small team,and with your passion for food and ability to identify new income opportunities, youll assist the Food & Beverage Manager to deliver an excellent experience for all our visitors at our special place. Through effective supervision and leadership you will motivatethe team of staff and volunteers to work towards a culture of exceptional service and make it a great place to work.Ensuring the team are competently trained and compliant with relevant legislation, youll also make sure every food and drink order is beautifullypresented and served with a smile.
