Our client, a provider of Adult Recreation Courses, is searching for a Flower Arrangement Tutor.Flower Arrangement Tutor£17.35 per hourFull Time, Permanent RoleFlower Arranging Classes for AdultsHighly Rewarding RoleBexhill-on-Sea, TN40 2JGOur client isa first-class 6th Form College that also provides an exciting range of recreational courses for adults.They are looking for a teacher specialising in flower arranging to lead a small class.Classes start in October, Tuesdays 6.30-8.30pm and Wednesdays 2.00pm-4.00pm.Aboutthe RoleYou will be an experienced flower arranger leading a course that involves students preparing an arrangement designed by you each week, following a demonstration. You will be responsible for Planning and providing lessons in flower arrangement (takinginto account the range of skills and experience of the students). Using a range of appropriate teaching strategies to ensure adults get the most from their classes. Utilise class time to ensure students have a positive learning experience. Creating a purposeful,positive, supportive and enjoyable teaching environment. Responding to student feedback. Keep accurate records as required (such as attendance). Attending college events to promote courses as required.The Ideal CandidateWe are looking for someone with a qualificationin flower arranging, or detailed knowledge of the subject.You will also have: A teaching qualification or experience of teaching/tutoring/mentoring. The ability to plan and manage effective lessons, using a range of strategies. Creative, innovative and engagingapproach to teaching. Understanding of teaching related issues in further education.
