Redstone Commodity Search are working with an international steel company looking to add a flat products steel trader to their European team to focus on the German, UK and Eastern Europeanmarkets. Key Responsibilities / Tasks Responsible for trading flat steel products into the German, UK and Eastern European markets Establish and maintain relationships with clients and suppliers in Europe Stay informed of changes and trends in the global steelmarkets to identify new business opportunities Liaise regularly with the operations and logistics teams to ensure a smooth supply chain Reports into the Head of Steel Trading Key Qualifications / Experience At least 5 years experience trading physical flatsteel products (ingots, slabs, billets, bars, wire rods, HRC, plates, sheets, etc.) An existing transferable portfolio of clients is highly desirable Strong knowledge of the German, UK and CEE markets Positive track record of trading and marketing steel aswell as excellent understanding of supply chain management and shipping of bulk materials Located in Europe
