We are looking for motivated individualswho have passion for providing a high standard of service.They have built a strong reputation as a leading destination management company in the UK and are looking for individuals to join them who share a similar passion for travel.The FIT department provide a fast Traditional E-Mail service from "hotel only" reservations to package itineraries and everything else required. The role Duties and responsibilities: * Quoting, booking, and operating of reservations involving new requests, amendments, and cancellations, checking availabilities via telephone or using allocation/freesale.* Negotiating with suppliers to secure services at contracted rates whenever possible. * Finding suitable alternatives and/or best available rates when the service requested is either sold out or not available on our contracted rate.* Accurately offering best available pricing, detailing exactly what is included in the rate and applying the correct levels of commission. * Negotiating ad-hoc special rates for agents when specific budgets need to be met.* Working quickly and accurately, at times under pressure, within acceptable timeframes.* Collecting pre-payments on time for any bookings made by agents without credit and informing your line manager of any issues before the cancellation policy starts.* Preparing and delivering welcome packages / tickets for clients when applicable, keeping all delivery notes for future reference.* Attending regular hotel familiarisation trips and in house product training sessions, involving a certain amount of time out of office hours.Skills and experience required:* People with real passion - youve got to love travel and be passionate about customer service* Strong communication skills verbal and written good knowledge of MS Office * Good organisational skills with great attention to detail * Team player that can work in a busy environment is essentialBenefits:* 1:1 training tailormade according to the individual* Travel & Health insurance* Yearly Travel card Zone 1 - 6 - after 1 year * Familiarization trips, social events If you are interested please apply with your most up to date CV ASAP.Search is an equal opportunities recruiter and we welcome applications from all suitably skilled or qualified applicants, regardless of their race, sex, disability, religion/beliefs, sexual orientation or age.
