Job Description

Southern Housing Group are looking for a Fire Safety Manager (programme and compliance) who will join an exciting and dynamic team working within a growing and forward thinking organisation.Working within the Building SafetyTeam, the Fire Safety Manager (programme and compliance) will assist the Head of Service to ensure the buildings are within scope of the RRFSO and all relevant legislation. The Fire Safety Manager will manage Groupwide services that identify, programme and deliver fire related inspections and safety remedial actively effectively and comprehensively.Job DescriptionTo ensure that all activity programmed meets statutory, regulatory and corporate strategy deliverables to ensure The Groups buildings remain well maintained and our customers are safe in their homes.This role is a mobile/Group wide role. We would be looking for a candidate to be located close to either our London office (Farringdon) or our Horsham office (West Sussex) for ease, with the expectation of visiting other sites and offices. Some of the Group are currently working remotely, so we would expect the right candidate to be flexible and agile in their approach to working. Required Skills & Experience•Strong, extensive and proven within a similar role•Proven knowledge of IT using MS Office Suite, in particular Excel •Confident designing and delivering Building Safety Case Programmes •Ideally with a professional membership of IFE/IFSM or similar, on their register or be working towards this.•Able to manage, lead and coach a team of Building Safety Managers•Confident in managing Section 20 process tasksThere is an opportunity to include a cover letter with your application.
