This established Fire Engineering Consultancy are looking to recruit an experienced Fire Safety Engineer to join their growing business based in the South East of England. The ideal candidate will have an engineering degree with LPCB & FHC qualifications for sprinkler system design or equivalent work-based experience. The role is heavily based around the design, specification, review and tendering support of new fire suppression systems (sprinkler, water mist, deluge and monitor systems plus related water supplies etc.), in addition you will also have to provide the inspection and reporting on the performance and adequacy of existing systems. The salary for this excellent opportunity ranges from £40,000 to £55,000 (neg.) dependant on skill set, qualifications and ability, other benefits including the option to join a contributory health care scheme, 25 days annual leave, auto-enrolment pension scheme, support for further education and training. Candidates will need 3 years minimum design experience to BS EN 12845, BS9251. Good communication skills are essential to work across a range of sectors, particularly residential and industrial, experience working with and negotiating with insurers would be ideal but is not essential. This role gives the successful applicant the opportunity to work form home and be in the office as necessary, there will be some UK wide travel for site surveys and meetings
