Job Description

Fire Risk Assessor - LondonHome and Field based£34000-£38000 + Benefits + CarEnvironmental Consultancy established 15 years ago, and with a UK wide presence but with a specific focus in the South East / London area, are looking to grow their fire division and currently require a Fire Risk Assessor to join the business and work on a number of commercial sites including, Offices, Retail, Industrial and Hospitality.To apply the Fire Risk Assessor will come from a consultancy background, have a minimum of 3 years experience and demonstrate an ability to work remotely with minimal supervision. Recognised qualifications in fire risk, health and safety such as NEBOSH are expected with experience working with more junior assessors being of particular interest.The key duties/expectations of the Fire Risk Assessor will include -

  • Working independently on 2 or 3 sites a day undertaking comprehensive risk assessments, and then using the latest technology in the market, writing detailed reports on site for the client including recommendations for future work.
  • Work will also cover audits, site training and helping to compile detailed H&S manual.
  • Attend management meeting when required to discuss future project work whether TEAMS or in the South East office.
  • Maintain an up to date understanding of all guidelines regarding fire risk and health & safety ensuring industry and ensure the highest standards are maintained when on site.
