MMP Consultancy are currently seeking a Fire Risk Assessor for a Social Housing client based in London for a permanent contract paying circa. £50k-£55k per annum (Depending on experience/qualifications)All candidates must be qualified and hold professional membership.Key Duties:* Management and coordination of contractors required to support destructive inspections as part of the type 4 risk assessment process. Recognise and identify high risk areas immediately.* All making good complies to fire safety standards and is of high quality. * Identify fire related risks and issues across the portfolio and design* Post inspect and quality assure necessary remedial actions.* Manage the completion of fire safety actions in terms of management of the delivery of these works via the contractors.* Internal and External specialist consultations regarding fire with other teams and organisation.* Ensure residents understand evacuation plans and help with the communication of this.* Recognise any risk or fire related changes are communicated.* Be a key element of the decision making when creating ways to deliver work in a fire safe and meaningful way.* Be available to provide fire experience and fire training where required.* Produce concise and sufficiently detailed FRAs up to and including type 4 intrusive assessments.* Maintain fire risk assessor competency requirements through systems training and updates of legislation.Key Experience* Up to date knowledge of Health & Safety and other legislation relevant to the role.* Knowledge of building maintenance, building construction and maintenance related contracts.Qualification Requirements (2 or more essential)* Membership of Third Party Accreditation Scheme - IFE/IFSM or equivalent* Level 4 Diploma in Fire Safety or equivalent* NEBOSH Fire Safety Cert.
