Job Description

Fire, Health and Safety Consultants - HIRING AT ALL LEVELSArk is currently seeking even more experienced, resourceful and dynamic Associate and/or Full-Time, Perm Consultants to join our expanding Professional Services team as part of our continued and exciting growth. We are looking for experienced Fire Safety Assessors/Consultants with experience in Health and Safety in the built environment. Our refreshingly different approach to consulting has given us a reputation for being innovative, resourceful and highly effective in helping put clients in control of their safety and compliance objectives.Our impressive list of clients includes investment funds, property management organisations and FTSE 250 listed companies within the Property & Real Estate, Services, Retail and Transport & Logistics and Hospitality & Leisure sectors.The Opportunity for youAs one of our Consultants at Ark Workplace Risk, you’ll be responsible for providing expert fire safety advice and health and safety recommendations to a range of our prestigious clients within the built environment. This could include;

  • Working with our diverse range of clients, providing competent fire safety and health and safety advice.
  • Undertaking fire risk assessments and general risk assessments in high rise residential and/or commercial buildings.
  • Supporting our clients with their safety cases.
  • Implementing health and safety and site management systems, audits and reviews.
  • Designing fire management plans for existing buildings.
  • Creating health and safety and fire safety solutions across a range of sites (varying in complexity) within the built environment.
    • What Ark expect of youTo be successful in one of our Consultant positions, you will hold relevant qualifications in Fire Safety and Health and Safety.
  • You will be a member of IFSM (MIFSM) Tier 3 or equivalent.
  • Ideally have IFE status GIFireE, AIFireE, bonus if you hold member status (MIFireE).
  • At least two years’ experience in residential property completing fire risk assessments.
  • Must have NEBOSH General Certification in health and safety.
  • Ideally relevant qualifications (NEBOSH) at diploma level or degree in Occupational Health and Safety are desirable.
  • Preferably you will be a member of IOSH and hold member status (CMIOSH) or at least graduate (GradIOSH).
