Prospectus are pleased to be partnering Catch22, a Social Enterprise who exist to help build a society where everyone has a good place to live, with good people around them, and have a fulfilling purpose. With one of their focus being in Justice, they workwith young people and adults in custody and in the community to provide a range of services that provides effective support mechanisms and intervention to help their service users desist from crime and reach their true potential. At an exciting time of expansion,they are looking to recruit four Financial Wellbeing Adviser to support a caseload of clients currently engaged with probation services.As Financial Wellbeing Adviser, you will provide Finance, Benefit and Debt (FBD) services and will focussed on supporting male ex-offenders to understand motivations, rationale, habits, behaviours and social capital, which explain root causes for FBD needs,and address them across allocated regions in London. This is a crucial role for Catch22, and as such will work in close partnership with delivery partners, HMPPS, Voluntary Sector and other Criminal Justice organisations to ensure the support provided to yourcaseload of service users offers opportunity to deliver and access intervention that supports rehabilitation.To be considered, you will have previous experience of providing support to a caseload of individuals with complex needs, ideally in the criminal justice or relatable sector. Due to the nature of this service, knowledge of local partners, statutory agenciesand associated services is essential, as is knowledge of resettlement pathways and an understanding of safeguarding adults and children. Finally, you must possess the ability to build and develop good working relationships at all levels and have as well asunderstand the importance of risk assessment and management. Although not essential, previous experience of delivery finance, benefit and debt interventions would be advantageous.The role will be based in the community and will require travel across various delivery sites across London. It may also require some occasional travel to other regions to access training and develop links with partnership agencies. Catch 22 are happy toconsider flexible working requests of condensed working weeks/fortnights.
