Job Description

My client, a top tier international Law firm are looking for a Financial Systems Analyst to join their team on a permanent basis in London. The role is a support role but will also involve working on projects.Key responsibilities:

  • Managing the support issues logged for the financial systems team. Second level support to the accounts departments internationally.
  • Liaising with the IT, Finance Departments, software supplier re support issues, both day to day and through to upgrade
  • Month end procedures and routines - time, billing, general ledger close
  • Review, test and deploy new upgrades to systems
  • Technical support of ARCS 2G (collections software) & the eBilling Hub.
  • Working as part of a team ensuring support & project workloads are balanced and ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Setting up new offices, mergers, and lateral hires.
  • Regular interaction across the business
Experience required:
  • Good analytical and financial skills
  • Knowledge and experience of practice management systems e.g. Aderant Expert, Thomson Elite, etc
  • Good understanding of finance processes.
  • Systems experience
Desirable experience:
  • SQL queries
