Job Description

I am currently partnering with a leading Not-for-Profit organisation in their search for a permanent Financial Safeguarding Officer.Reporting to the CFO, you will assist Adult Service personnel regarding Appointeeships and financial protocols aimed at ensuring the protection of funds for the individuals.The main responsibilities include:

  • Examining financial safeguarding protocols for individuals, ensuring their complete alignment with updated practices
  • Generating reports that accurately depict the status of Appointeeship and financial safeguarding for the individuals under their care
  • Collaboratively reviewing the recent financial safeguarding audit and following up on outstanding actions
  • Ensuring accounts are reconciled at each service location
The successful candidate:
  • A fully qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA)
  • Proven ability to successfully negotiate and communicate with members of the Board and executive-level staff
  • Advanced commercial insight and awareness, capable of providing guidance on Appointeeship matters
  • Proven understanding of contemporary IT platforms and audit methodologies
