Financial Product Owner: IB BTL and Regulated Lending

Job IntroductionMain Responsibilities

• Support the Head to develop and maintain a strategy for product or products within their area of responsibility.
• Ensure customer and colleague journeys are as consistent, efficient and frictionless as possible.
• Monitor product costs and income, and maintains profitability model for products.
• Keep abreast of market trends, innovation and competitor products and associated pricing
• Support Branch colleagues, responding to queries, updating instructions and training materials where necessary
• Engage with internal stakeholders to gauge appetite for changes to products and gain approval for the development of new and/or changes to existing products.
• Operate in line with the Banks Risk Management framework (including sub-frameworks) and relevant risk and compliance policies and procedures, ensuring appropriate and timely escalation of any concerns to their line manager.
• Monitor legal, regulatory and internal changes and applicability to products, ensuring product compliance.

• A good understanding of IB lending products end to end process both in the Bank and the market place
• A good understanding of regulations pertaining to IB lending products
• Evidence of strong communications skills and style
• Evidence of strong stakeholder management
• Ability to manage time effectively whilst delivering on own and shared goals
• Ability to pursue matters by analysing, reflecting, suggesting and implementing changes and continuous development
