Role OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented professional to join our team in a crucial role supporting EMEA Business and Legal Entity Management Reporting. In this position, you will play a key role in the monthly financial reporting process, encompassingboth management and statutory accounts. Your responsibilities will extend to month-end closing, variance analysis, and commentary for senior management. You will also take charge of balance sheet analysis, assist with group reporting requirements, and leadthe Budget and Forecast processes for the entire region. Additionally, this role involves producing Regional Board Packs and collaborating with the wider Finance team to analyse the regions financial performance. Proactive engagement with business and Finance Partners, coupled with a deep understanding of the marketsin which we operate, will be essential to drive insightful decision-making. Effective communication and relationship-building across various teams will be vital to your success in this dynamic role. Role Responsibilities

  • Preparation of the monthly EMEA financial reports for both management accounts and statutory accounts.
  • Support month end close process including the preparation of EMEA flash results.
  • Monthly review of income statement, variance analysis and preparing commentary for senior managers.
  • Detailed balance sheet movement analysis
  • Assist with key group reporting requirements at half year and yearend
  • Coordination and preparation of the Budget and Forecast processes for the entire region, including the completion of the subsequent reporting and analysis of Income Statement, Balance Sheet and Cashflow.
  • Producing the Regional Board Packs, ensuring information and commentary supports the narrative.
  • Support the wider Finance team with reporting and analysis of the regions financial performance
  • Pro-actively challenge the business and the Finance Partners, actively participating in decision making processes, presenting alternative approaches, possible solutions and highlighting potential issues.
  • Develop an understanding of the business and the markets they operate within to support the narrative on EMEA performance.
  • Present thought provoking and interesting work in a clear and concise manner.
  • Build strong working relationships across Group Finance, the Business and the wider EMEA Finance team.
Experience / CompetencesEssential
  • Part qualified Accountant CIMA/ACCA/ACA.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Experience in FP&A, financial reporting and management accounting.
  • Strong personal organisation skills including multi-tasking, prioritisation and delivery.
  • Flexible and able react to changing requirements and adjust process and approach.
  • Experience in using different systems for interrogating financial data and able to proficiently articulate findings .
Desired
  • Ability to identify problems, propose remedies and implement solutions.
  • Experience of OneStream, Hyperion or similar systems.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI).
  • Skilled in system or process improvements.
