Job Description

Were currently working with a global media organisation looking to recruit a Financial Modeller on a permanent basis. Reporting into the Group Head of Finance, the remit of the role will be to provide modelling and analysis support for a variety of scenarios, as well as direct involvement in the continuous process improvement of the finance function.

  • Working proactively with the Financial Controlling team to understand processes, shortfalls and identifying relevant improvements, solutions and opportunities for further automation
  • Providing financial modelling support to Finance and the wider business, in particular to support key strategic capital expenditure and commercial business cases through detailed financial analysis and sensitivities.
  • Implementing relevant data validation controls are incorporated into model design
  • Providing ad hoc analytical support including evaluation of business proposals/initiatives and campaigns
  • Development and maintenance of robust Group consolidation models and processes for strategic plans, budgets and forecasts.
    • You will ideally be a qualified accountant who has a big 4 consultancy background, ideally with solid experience in the delivery of high quality analysis and business case presentation to Senior Management. You will be looking for your first move away from practice or ideally already have some experience within industry.Proven delivery of developing and delivering complex business / financial models coupled with the ability to operate at a senior level are essential to the position.
