Main Responsibilities & Accountabilities:Report directly to the manager supporting in oversight and management of the Bank’s efforts in preventing and detecting financial crime risks;Maintain an awareness of current Financial Crime regulations and legislation and assist the management in updating Bank’s Financial Crime Prevention related policies, procedures and appendices, such as: Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Customer Due Diligence(CDD), PEP, Sanctions, Fraud, Off boarding, Anti-Bribery & Corruption, Trade Finance, Gifts & Hospitality, Sanctions, Country Risk Assessment, and Customer Risk Rating MethodologyMaintain and manage the ‘Financial Crime Prevention – Training Schedule’, which includes: identifying any learning gaps, review and edit training content, testing course content on e-learning platform, implementation of e-learning courses across the bank,maintaining the e-learning platform and liaising with the external vendor to ensure the e-learning platform is functioning as expectedExperience;Minimum 2 years’ experience of working in 2nd line (independent to 1st line),Proven experience in performing KYC checks and undertaking quality controlGood technical knowledge in financial crime related regulatory and legislatives such as: Money Laundering, Terrorist Financing, Sanctions, Fraud, Bribery & Corruption, Tax Evasion and Modern SlaveryProven experience in second line advisory within the areas of financial crime complianceProven experience in reviewing entity types such as, Funds, SPVs, Trusts, Foundations, Charities and LLPsProficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe; and Good report writing skills.For a full and detailed job brief, please email your CV to Justin Shum on LMA banking team..
