It truly is One Team here and our culture provides the freedom for everyone to innovate and achieve the very best result!RoleThe Financial Crime Monitoring Analyst will be responsible for conducting monitoring reviews of a number of different business areas in order to identify, assess and mitigate the financial crime risks which ePayments face.The main objective of this role is to provide assurance that ePayments has adequate financial crime systems and controls in order to meet its financial crime obligations and achieve regulatory compliance.Responsibilities and duties

  • To assist the Financial Crime Monitoring Manager in the development of the strategy for the performance of the Financial Crime Monitoring function including the development of related methodologies and procedures.
  • Conducting periodic and thematic reviews of first line business units (such as, but not limited to transaction monitoring, payment screening and enhanced due diligence) to provide assurance that ePayments is conducting itself in line with its regulatory expectations
  • Produce detailed yet clear reports regarding the effectiveness of the financial crime control environment, including the issues and concerns in order to agree steps to mitigate or avoid risks outside the company’s risk appetite.
  • Producing clear and effective recommendations to the business in light of any findings identified from any reviews conducted to achieve regulatory compliance
  • Liaising with a number of different business functions in order to collect data and establish facts
  • Producing MI in relation to work completed on a regular basis.
  • Qualifications and requirements
  • 3 years experience in a financial crime monitoring/assurance related role
  • Experience in monitoring different areas of the business in order to identify, assess and mitigate financial crime risks
  • An industry recognised Financial Crime qualification such as ICA or ACAMs
  • Solid understanding of financial crime risk management concepts
  • Ability to define an agenda/plan, collect data, identify problems, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions to produce clear and efficient recommendations to the business to further prevent financial crime.
  • Ability to summarise complex data and information in a clear and organised manner
  • Clear communicator; both in writing and verbally
  • Confidence in communicating with people at all levels in the organisation
  • The ability to prioritise own workload
  • Exceptional attention to detail skills
  • Initially 4-weeks fixed term contract, extention upon successful completion
