Financial Crime Advisory Manager

As a Barclays Financial Crime Manager you will advise the Business Bank on compliance with Financial Crime Policies and Standards, including activities such as gap analysis, dispensations, waivers, breaches, procedures sign-off and horizon risk scanning.This role will work in collaboration with key stakeholders to understand inherent risks and control weaknesses to provide solutions for mitigation. What will you be doing You will work in collaboration with our key stakeholders to understand inherent risks and control weaknesses and to provide solutions for mitigation Conduct and oversee any Lessons Learned or Deep Dives which are required following analysis of MI, Data metrics, or following significant risk event Lead on Policy and Regulatory gap analysis, managing any related forums around Risk Appetite decisions Highlight any risk and control gaps by providing a full report to senior management. You will report and raise mitigating actions in conjunction with the relevant business areas for tactical solutions, recommending further work-streams where required Work closely assigned business areas to proactively track open Audit actions or issues to ensure mitigation of issues You will understand Group Governance Policies and implement agreed plans to support the business to improve adherence You shall participate in and/or manage any ad hoc projects or requests within this business area What were looking for: Financial Crime Policy and Regulation expert Experience of interpreting Barclays Financial Crime Policy into business context Experience of leading teams of Financial Crime subject matter experts Financial Crime risk identification and mitigation experience Skills that will help you in the role: Financial Crime control assessment experience 2LoD Financial Crime advisory experience Experience of mass market business clients ICA or equivilent Diploma in relevant Financial Crime discipline Where will you be workingYou can be home based, or work in one our office across the UK. Our key office locations are London, Northampton, Glasgow, Knutsford, Manchester, Northwich (Gadbrook) and Dublin.
