Job Description

We are currently recruiting a Financial Controller for a VC backed Technology Start-Up, based in Central London.This individual will work very closely with the CEO. Initially, this is a sole role, but we are looking for someone who can build a team. To be successful in this business, you will have a commercial and operational mindset, as this is a start-up, and this person will play a critical role in building the foundations of the business.Responsibilities

Management accounting for the business and group

Working capital and cash flow

Develop and refine the management board packs

Budgeting, forecasting and FP&A

Business partner to non-finance departments and group

Provide financial insight to drive decision making and the commercial outputs.

Develop and maintain a strong control environment

Internal and External audit

Oversee and deliver balance sheet reconciliations

Ad-hoc as required

Qualifications & experience

A fully qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA).

Demonstrable financial and accounting experience to a senior level.

Ability to build credible working relationships with the ability to challenge at all levels.

PE/VC experience would be a plus, but not a pre-requisite.

Able to work and deliver to tight deadlines.

Excellent problem solving and strategic thinking skills.
