Job Summary London Permanent BBBH779658 Apr 15, 2021 £40k - £60k Job Description Financial Controller - Hospitality Group - Charing Cross - Hands on role - Stable environment - Progress to Finance Director level - Team growth - Report to owners An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Finance Manager/Financial Controller to take complete ownership of the Finance function of this hospitality group. The role is close to charing cross/embankment station and is paying between £45,000 - £55,000. For candidates already on £55,000, there may be the possibility of some flexibility to £60,000, however the client is ideally looking to secure someone within their initial range. The role would suit candidates with experience managing a finance function, who are not afraid to get stuck in and be the face of finance. The role would report into the owners, and has the capability to hire a finance assistant within the first 6 months, with also a long term view of moving into a Finance Director role. An overview of other duties includes: Ownership of six brands which each have their own cost centre and P&L, with a view to consolidating these in the future. These are within the hospitality, production and digital space. As a member of the Senior Management Team, take complete ownership of Financial and Management Accounts Financial and management reporting, including variance analysis Budgeting, forecasting, and assisting with project analysis Ownership of sales ledger, cash book, nominal ledger, fixed assets, payroll and payroll year end Get involved in adhoc other duties as required by the business Requirements Qualified Accountant Qualified By Experience (QBE) may be considered if you have done a similar role, with a consistent track record of success and longevity on the CV as opposed to many interim roles.
