Job Description

Financial Controller - FTC 6 monthsWe are recruiting for an InterimFinancial Controller to support our Head of Finance in managing the Finance team. You will be a fully qualified finance professional, able to hit the ground running. You will have experience in retail/wholesale and managing and developing teams.The Role

  • Co-ordinate the team to deliver Management Accounts in a timely fashion
  • Review costs, provide variance analysis, and oversee distribution of cost center reporting.
  • Finalise 2019 audit and statutory accounts.
  • Finalise 2019 UK corporation tax returns and work with tax advisers to ensure compliance in all territories
  • Support production of 2021 Budget
  • Support, mentor and develop a team of enthusiastic and committed individuals
    • About You
  • Qualified Accountant with 5 years + post qualification experience
  • Experience of managing a finance team in a Retail/Wholesale business
  • Able to manage in a collaborative and co-operative way
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Able to work under pressure
  • Good communication skills
    • Hours and BenefitsOur core shift hours are from 8am – 10:00am, i.e. employees can choose to work 8-4:30pm, 8:30-5pm,etc. plus early finish on Friday!
