Job Description

We are looking for a Financial Controller or Finance Manager from an SME to join a fast growing, privately owned, Managed Cloud Solutions company as a Financial Controller. This position will report directly into the founders of the business, and you willbe tasked with helping to grow the business as well as improve the finance processes. This Financial Controller position is paying up to £70k and is based in Central London.The Role

  • As the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for Financial Operations Management but also work extremely closely with the CEO.
  • You will actively participate in the companys growth and investment strategy.
  • You will line manage a Finance Assistant who is responsible for the transactional activity,
  • Preparation of monthly management accounts including reports for the CEO and board.
  • Budget and Forecast preparation, reporting and analysis, monitoring business performance on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis against budget and forecast.
  • Responsible for the production of Statutory Accounts in collaboration with the third-party accountancy firm.
  • Researching and applying for R&D grants for strategic software development investments.
Your Profile
  • You will need to be a fully qualified accountant (ACA, CA, CIMA or ACCA)
  • You will ideally come from an SME background and have previous experience in improving and streamlining the finance operations.
  • Prior experience in working with the owners of a business to set the strategy and help drive the business is hugely desirable.
