* High growth, BCorp and lots to do!* Hybrid working, Up to £75,000* Great opportunity to partner with a brilliant CFO in a very cool businessFinancial Controller, Beauty, London, Up to £75,000 The CFO is on the hunt for an ambitious, intelligent Financial Controller to join his growing team and lead on all day to day finance. The role has huge scope to grow and take on more responsibility as you progress and the company grows!The business have just closed c£15m via a series c investment round to enable future expansion. With a super strong story and brand heritage, underpinning the investment in their brand and marketing activities, this is a very exciting time for this establishedrange of products.We are looking for an experienced FC, ideally from a SME environment to join the CFO in establishing better systems, controls and reporting through this period of expansion. The role: Manage the production of the monthly management accounts & commentary and responsible for all financial reporting to the senior team, including the financial KPIs. Provide explanations on actual variances to budget and help to drive corrective actions. Balance sheet controls & reconciliations e.g. stock & bank reconciliations. Oversee the financial processes & controls across the business including AP (payments), AR (credit control). Seeking continuous improvements & automation. Strong cost control and capture. Evaluate risks & opportunities for the business. Data integrity & one version of the truth. Responsible for the annual statutory accounts and audit process. Management of the finance team, providing coaching & people development. Responsible for working capital and treasury management, including currency based cash flow forecasting. Manage & deliver FX hedging strategy. Provide monthly MI to the bank. Control weekly payment runs & credit control function. Responsible for UK and International VAT/sales tax compliance & returns. Work with external tax advisors regarding Company Corporation tax returns. Ownership of the R&D tax credit process. Lead the business through the annual planning and budget cycle. Coordinate the process across the senior leadership team with a clear plan, timetable, managing templates, submissions and consolidation. Ensure senior leadership team are clear on budget targets, phasing & final budget signed-off. Upload final phased budgets in NetSuite. Analyse financial data to create and develop financial models to support, planning, and forecasting. Evolve existing process for rolling forecast (P&L, CF) including the design & implementation of templates & models. Finance lead on business development projects. Review of performance vs budget/targets, especially sales channel P&Ls & central costs. Support Investment appraisal process and evaluation of business cases. Business Partnering with the senior leadership team, supporting with key decision making for the business. Work with HR & external bureaus to manage the UK and overseas payrolls. Lead contact for Finance system NetSuite, drive innovation & challenge existing processes.You will be: Qualified Accountant. Previous experience of consumer business would be an advantage.
