Our client is a truly global organisation who boast partnerships with many FTSE100/Fortune500 companies that helps them improve ethical and responsible business practices in their supply chain, operating in the high-profile Environmental/Social/Governance(ESG) space. The finance team is going through a period of evolution and currently seeking a talented Financial Controller to join the business, whos looking for a challenging role where they can shape the finance function from almost a green field startingpoint. The business has a very flexible working policy, with only 1/2 days expected in their beautiful Central London offices.The RoleThe Financial controller is a key role, responsible for ensuring the provision of accurate, relevant, and timely management information, including the global financial statements. Furthermore, you will own the improvement and efficiency of controls, processesand systems whilst maintaining compliance with relevant accounting standards and legislation.You will be the global lead in ensuring the rollout and compliance of the company accounting policies and asset management - particularly taken the lead on all internal and external ESG disclosures and reporting. The role will encompass all aspects of financialand management accounting and will very much be a key Finance liaison point within the business.Reporting into the Finance Director, the FC is responsible for the financial operations, controls, accounting, and reporting, as well as managing the finance team. There will be significant scope to expand the role over the next 2-3 years, as the businessembarks on a bold 5-year strategy for significant growth and investment.Main Responsibilities
