Job Description

Our client, a European Investment Bank, is looking for a Qualified Accountant to join the firm on a 15-month Fixed-Term Contract, to work in a senior finance role covering all areas of the finance departmentThe role:

  • Applying Accounting principles and controls on Finance activity and monitoring operational costs
  • Preparing Regulatory Reports and the balance sheets for the UK Branch
  • Gathering information for the Corporation tax return, and provide support for the review of quarterly VAT return
  • Producing clear and relevant Management Information for operational expenditure as well as ad-hoc MI requests
  • Monitoring IFRS9 provisioning, taking responsibility for Financial Reporting submissions, and liaising with external auditors where necessary
Requirements:
  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA etc.) or equivalent
  • Strong knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and PowerBI
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Capable of prioritising and managing time to meet deadlines while under pressure
