Job Description

This newly created role will be responsible for setting up reporting and analysisstructures for a brand-new division within one of the most complex, high-profile directorates within the charity. With brilliant on the job training, genuine responsibility from day one and exceptional potential for progression, this is not an opportunityyou will want to miss!The key duties of this Finance Business Partner role are as follows:

  • Host monthly financial performance review meetings with all of your key stakeholders, challenging over and underspends as required.
  • Conduct critical analysis on the commercial viability of a number of different income-generating initiatives, with the view of making recommendations to enhance future performance.
  • Act as the finance subject matter expert for your entities, providing sound analysis and advice to guide decision making.
  • Take the lead in the annual budget setting process, working with key stakeholders to understand their visions for the following year.
  • Full responsibility for producing the monthly management accounts for each area under your remit, following up with supporting variance analysis and commentaries.
  • Conduct training sessions for your budget holders as required as a means of enhancing financial capacity and understanding.
This role is an exceptional opportunity for an ambitious, proactive individual who has a solid grounding in budgeting, forecasting and monthly reporting who is now looking to step into a business partnering role that offers brilliant exposure to senior audiences.Furthermore, the charity has an excellent flexible working policy, with the successful candidate only required to be in the office two days per week.The successful candidate will have:
  • At least part-qualified in a relevant accountancy qualification.
  • Budgeting and forecasting experience.
  • Strong knowledge of monthly management accounts.
  • Brilliant interpersonal skills and the confidence to liaise with senior stakeholders.
  • A hunger to learn and a commercial mindset.
