Job Description

Are you a finalist level or newly qualified accountant passionate about women’s rightsWe’re supporting a global health NGO in the search for a dynamic and proactive financial accountant to work with colleagues nationally and internationally to assist in group management and statutory accounts production.Responsibilities will include;

  • Preparing and process monthly journals to consolidate group management accounts
  • Maintaining register of intra-group transactions
  • Supporting the preparation of the annual group statutory accounts and accordance with Charity SORP
  • Leading the global annual audit, act as the point person for country programme deliverables and support donor audits as required
  • Overseeing global intercompany accounts within the group; including intercompany processes and policy
  • Overseeing group balance sheets and assist in their continued improvement by providing insights into country programme balances and supporting tools and reports that assist country programmes.
  • Reporting monthly on countries performance
  • Continuously improving processes and policies, advocating best practice
  • The ideal candidate will have had some exposure to audit either within industry/NFP or practice. You will be a self-starter, organised and able to communicate effectively with colleagues globally. This is an excellent opportunity for a finalist or newly qualified accountant to step into a developmental role within leading charity bravely working to empower women to make their own choices about their bodies.
