Job Description

Financial AccountantEarly Stage Gaming Startup£50/55kLondonThis role provides a brilliant opportunity to break into industry in an exciting rapidly scaling gaming company. You will gain fantastic exposure to the Financial Director and the Chief Finance Officer with this role.You will be tasked with consolidating the accounts for multiple entities, driving automation and improvement of reporting process. This will include liaising with the broader functions of the business and working closely with the extremely impressive FinancialDirector.Responsibilities:

  • Direct responsibility for the Group consolidation
  • Assist in the preparation of financial results for senior stakeholders
  • statutory reporting
  • Support due diligence
  • Provide on-going support to the CFO and the other key stakeholders in the business
  • Drive automation and improvement in reporting and process
  • Preparation of consolidated accounts for the group
Requirements:
  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent)
  • Audit experience, multi-national experience would be an advantage
  • Confident in ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Strong knowledge of accounting policies and IFRS
  • Able to manage conflicting priorities and tight deadlines to ensure key deliverables are met
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills
  • Able to develop key relationships across all functions throughout the company
  • Ability to take full ownership of projects within a small team
  • Experience in video games industry is an advantage but not mandatory
