Financial AccountantBankingVenn Group are working with a bank in London looking to restructure and expand its Leasing , subsequently recruiting an Accountant to join a dynamic and growing team. This contract opportunity would be suitable for Financial Accountants with Financial Servicesexperience, ideally working within banking environments.Candidates with the following experience are invited to apply:- Part or Fully qualified accountancy qualifications (ACCA/ACA/CIMA)- Managing the General Ledger daily and making sure accounting entries for all transactions are properly posted and descriptions are accurate- Familiar performing BAU reporting duties, including meeting deadlines associated with financial month- and year-end- Knowledge of preparing VAT and GST returns as well as being a secondary point of contact for KPMG Audit- Knowledge of accounting standards and procedures pertaining to regulatory submissions, such as UK GAAP and IFRS, and/or submissions to the PRA. Knowledge of IFRS 16 would be desirable.This opportunity will give you a great chance to gain more accounting experience while working alongside a financial controller.
