The Client A well-established and boutique Asset Management firm.The Role This Role is a 12 month Fixed Term ContractThe Financial Accountant role will suit an enthusiastic and dedicated finance individual who is working towards full accountancy qualifications. A part qualified accountant will be considered for this role and the role does offer part time study support.The Financial Accountant will join an small Finance Team and work with the Head of Finance.The Financial Accountant will process monthly management data via journals, prompt variance analysis against trend and budget and prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations.The Financial Accountant will also complete quarterly Company valuations, Group Reporting, FCA Regulatory Returns and periodic cashflow analysis.Prepare revenue postings, salary postings, accruals and prepayments and any other accounting as appropriate to support the Head of Finance in the month end process.The Financial Accountant will prepare balance sheet reconciliations as appropriate, and will prepare monthly intercompany reconciliations ensuring balances agreed, signed off and settled as appropriate.The Financial Accountant will prepare bank postings , perform bank reconciliations, review and approve invoices and provide support in adhoc tasks and projects across finance where required.The Financial Accountant will support the Head of Finance through the budget submission cycle and will assist the Finance Manager with quarterly valuation of the CompanyThe Financial Accountant will take responsibility and be contact for the external audit and will own and report on the cashflow position to the Head of FinanceThe Candidate A Part qualified accountant with Financial Accounting experienceideally for a Financial Services firm(s).Experience of working within a small finance team.Working knowledge of Hyperion Financial Management - preferred but not essentialSolutions oriented and Highly accurate.
