This business is responsible for the sales and distribution of some well loved programmes seen across the small screen globally, is partof a larger group and offers great career opportunities.A great role for a strong financial accountant or an individual looking to move from Practice into industry.Reporting into the Head of Finance this is a varied role that requires an incredibly personable individual who has a passion for everything they do!The role:* Assist with the annual budgeting and monthly/quarterly reforecasting, ensuring all Group requirements are met* Prepare the cashflow forecast to be submitted to the Group, including updating the rolling forecasts* Monthly reconciliation of intercompany accounts, agreeing balances with other group entities and reporting/consolidating to the Group finance function* Prepare key monthly balance sheet accounts* Review/revalue non GBP balance sheet at period end to the correct exchange rate* Prepare, analyse and forecast working capital for all relevant entities* Prepare accounts for any SPVs used for debt factoring* Liaise with the group treasury function as required, including forecasting for debt factoring* Accounting for various worldwide Television Market relayed costs including intercompany recharges.The person:* Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA or equivalent) ideally with 2-3 years post qualified experience* Experience of the TV/Media industry would be a distinct advantage* Strong attention to detail, proactive and self motivated* Experience of internal controls review and intercompany accounting* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills* Strong team player with the ability to influence and challenge others accordingly* Analytical and solutions orientated* Experience of foreign currency accounting would be an advantageDue to the high volume of applications received, regrettably only successful candidates will be contacted
