Job Description

Altum Consulting is pleased to be partnering exclusively with a global fashion and retail brand in its search for a Financial Accountant on a 9 month FTC. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant with 2+ years post qualified experience to gain exposure to a dynamic team within the retail & FMCG industry.As the Financial Accountant your role will involve:

  • Coordination of the month end accounts, working closely with the junior team to support and review their inputs.
  • Thorough analysis of your own work and that of your direct reports covering cost vs. budget and cost of sales review across the business.
  • Monthly statutory reporting and analysis for board reports and presentations
  • Team leadership of up to 3 direct reports, and providing effective support to the Senior Accountant to meet deadlines.
  • Work across multi-currency accounts, therefore FX experience is preferable.
    • The ideal candidate for the Financial Accountant role will:
  • Be a fully qualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA
  • Have previous experience within a Financial Accountant or hybrid role, 2+ years post qualification
  • Experience in the retail or FMGC sector
  • Proven experience leading or coaching a direct report ]
  • Available within 1 months notice, immediately available preferred.
