Job Description

Altum Consulting are supporting a world leading and specialist marketing business with a global office network to recruit an Financial Accountant with immediate availability to assist with a system review, compliance and control over existing work flows and work to make efficiency and accuracy improvements.You will have:

  • Part Qualified CIMA / ACCA or equivalent
  • Proven abilities with compliance and control
  • Comfortable working with large sets of data
  • Exposure to medium / large sized businesses will be useful
  • Strong Excel and Reporting System experience
  • Having previously used Tableau, Paprika, AX and/or BCP will be beneficial
  • Clear communication skills
  • Proficient financial control and an ability to influence
  • A self motivator ready to drive improvement processes, reporting and generation of useful Management Information.
    • Key Responsibilities:
  • Completion of Group accounting and reporting schedules
  • Complete year-end audit queries and respond to additional audit/regulatory queries
  • Provision of document packs - corporation tax, VAT, payroll taxes etc.
  • Maintain ledger documentation in compliance with group policy
  • Prepare and maintain process flow documentation
  • Make sure the Intra-company recharge transactions are posted, reconciled and paid
  • Maintain best practice work flows and documentation of processes.
  • Operate professionally, reporting to the Head of Accounting under Balance Sheet, Treasury, Working Capital and Payroll processes.
