Financial AccountantLondon£70,000 per annumI am currently partnered with Unique Insurance business on their search for a Senior Finacial Accountant during a period of transformation.The role will be responsible for:* Production and maintenance of Lease asset model (IFRS 16), and review of Journal output* Assist in the co-ordination of annual planning process and activities; liaison with Actuarial and wider business* Assist in the production of the Solvency & Financial Condition Report and Regular Supervisory Report with due support from the wider business* Ownership of allocated input to the first set of IFRS 17 annual accounts, periodic financial statements and other regulatory reporting requirements (e.g., production of disclosure notes to the financial statements);* Provide input into the re-engineering of current financial operations processes to allow dual reporting on an IFRS 4 and IFRS 17 basis.Profile Requirements:* Qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA)* Extensive finance systems experience, or interest and willingness to learn.* Ability to work closely with technical teams (e.g. Reserving and Capital)* Excellent SQL, Excel and Word skills Must have full right to work within the UK, no sponsorship available.
