Job Description

Our client is a leading pharmaceutical company with headoffices in central London and are looking for a Financial Accountant for a 6 month contracy beginning in January.

  • Prepare 10 UK audited statutory accounts. Mix of limited and LLP accounts (limited iability partnership)
  • Resolve auditors queries as they audit the accounts.
  • 12 dormant company accounts
  • Systems NetSuite and IRIS
  • Complete yearend +tax packs and resolve queries for tax advisors.
  • Support Financial Controller on the December 2023 Year end PLC accounts.
  • Proofread Group PLC accounts.
  • Prepare notes to Group PLC accounts.
  • Investigate and resolve accounts queries or anomalies.
  • Able to liaise with to different teams and members of the finance team to resolve and correct queries.
Experience required.
  • Stat accounts experience- This will be for the subsidiary stat accounts and involve rolling prior year, updating and liaising with auditors.
  • Accounting software
  • Knowledge of Statutory accounting software
  • Preparation of financial statements
  • Worked with auditors and /or tax advisors / or have been an auditor.
  • Able to manage competing demands from different teams of auditors.
  • Good Excel
