Job Description

We are looking for a Qualified Auditor from a Large or medium sized practice to join a Global Energy Giant as a Financial Accountant. Paying £60-65k and based in Central London with hybrid working, this role will be working on an exciting new Nuclear EnergyProject. This is an incredibly high-profile project that is costing over £30 Billion, there will be a plethora of opportunities to grow and develop as the team is growing at a rate of knots.The Role

  • This role will act as a conduit between the Financial Accounting team and the Commercial Finance Team.
  • This role will cover year-end, audit, governance, best practice, statutory accounts, ofgem reporting and regulatory reporting.
  • You will work collaboratively with the Senior Planning and Reporting Accountant to ensure the robustness and auditability of financial information.
  • You will be in charge of some complex technical accounting research to assess the implication of proposed transactions.
  • You will support the discussion with the programme leads to ascertain implication of proposed accounting treatments.
  • Play a lead role in the audit process, including collation of supporting files and memos and be a key client contact for the auditors.

  • You will need to be a qualified auditor from a large or medium sized practice.
  • Candidates who trained in audit and are now in a financial reporting role are also eligible to apply.
