Financial Accountant Location: Shepherds Bush Salary up to £75k, with 10% bonus DOETate are delighted to be working with this Global company who are looking for a Financial Accountant to join their finance team, reporting to the Operations Finance Manager. As Financial Accountant you would need to be actively involved in the monthly reportingand accounting compliance for their London location as well as related projects. You will be experienced in both practice and industry and a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA) with experience of working with blue chip companies. Our client is wanting someonewho has strong stakeholder management, who can hit deadlines fast.This is a full time, permanent hybrid role. 3 days office 2 days WFH.Key Objective of the Financial Accountant:To be actively involved in the monthly reporting and accounting compliance:Main Duties & Responsibilities:

• Preparation of Quarterly Finance Reports (QFR), including variance analysis and forecasting.
• Ownership of period end closing procedures for leasing revenue and leasing capital expenditure, including liaising with relevant stakeholders to provide detailed variance analysis as part of QFR submissions.
• Ownership of actuals and forecast for non-recoverable costs including bad and doubtful debts, leasing fees, legal fees, and management fees.
• Ownership for period end Group reporting processes including intercompany reconciliations, reporting adjustments, closing procedures and analytical reviews.
• Assist the Operations Finance Manager in preparing the 5yr Business Plan including all associated financial reporting, analysis, and presentation material. Liaise directly with the respective business stakeholders for input into the process and assist withthe consolidation of financial data and migration of data into relevant reporting tools.
• Preparation of Quarterly Managers Reports.
• Lead in the management of annual group and statutory audit processes, including co-ordination of requested supporting information from external auditors.
• Production of statutory accounts for operational entities, ensuring compliance with FRS 102, or IFRS as applicable, including:
• liaising with corporate accountants, commercial, tax, and legal.
• liaising with auditors
• Preparation of tax pack information
• continuous improvement of the accounts production process
• Support the Operations Finance Manager in any other ad hoc projects and/or implementation of strategies to improve operational performance or financial controls and processes.

Experience, Knowledge & Qualifications for Financial Accountant:

• Qualified Chartered Accountant
• Experience in owning full month end processes and core reporting.
• Experience of preparing UK statutory accounts using an accounting software (OneSource is a strong advantage)
• Evidence of strong financial skills - ability to link financial results to operational performance drivers.
• Strong communication skills - ability to build relationships with different departments.
• Experience of working alongside the audit team and other members of the finance team
• To have worked in a similar challenging environment
• Strong financial, analytical and system skills
• Advanced spreadsheet skills
