One of the best names in Private Banking are looking to hire a new Senior Accountant / Finance Manager in to the team. Reporting to the Finance Director, this is a great role for someone looking to step up and take on more responsibility within FinancialControl and Reporting.The role:A key person to help enhance and manage all month end, quarter end and annual financial reporting and control responsibilities of a market-leading Private Bank.Key Duties:* Responsible for Statutory Accounts and all periodic financial reporting* Preparation of annual Audit and be the first line of communication with the Auditors* Responsible for the monthly consolidation process* Drive consistency in accounting policy implementation* Implement major IFRS projects and other changes* Business Partner the Treasury team to better manage capital reporting and control* Present to senior management a basic understanding of certain accounting policies or issues* Provide accounting advice to senior managers across the Group* Develop the Banks reporting framework, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards* Take control of several projects to enhance a particular are of the balance sheet that needs improvement* Support related reporting functions in Regulatory, Treasury and ILAAP / ICAAP, providing constructive challenge across finance and the wider business to understand and improve the banks capital, liquidity and financial reporting situation* Pro-actively seek out inefficiencies and take action to map and resolve better practiceAbout You:* ACA, CIMA or ACCA Qualified with 3-5 years PQE experience* A background in Banking, Wealth Management or Audit* Ideally experience in a Statutory Reporting and Controls based role within banking* An enthusiasm of making things better* An ability to communicate at Board level* A genuine love for team-work* Passion and pride in what you do is a MUST!
