Job Description

  • Collation of Monthly Balance Sheet Analysis alongside MI team, Financial Controllers and Senior Financial Accountants (SFA)
  • Assist SFAs with monthly IFRS9 process
  • Drafting of key Audit Committee papers and Accounting policy papers
  • Identifying, escalating and implementing process improvements and be an advocate for continuous improvement.
  • Review Solar Provision modelling and resolve any data issues
  • Day to day management of data to be provided to auditors
  • Work to resolve all open items raised by our auditors
  • Liaise with Internal Audit and ensure all deliverables are completed on time
  • Assist with delivery of Data Governance for Finance
  • Liaise and maintain good relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain an awareness of the controls required by a Bank
The Person
  • Experience of using SUN general ledger system (or equivalent)
  • Experience of reconciliations
  • Experience of working in the Financial Services sector
  • A strong aptitude for numbers and accountability
  • Worked in a fast moving, medium sized organisation
  • Have knowledge of TCF and KYC
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills
  • Have enthusiastic "can do" attitude
  • Able to work under pressure and to tight deadline
  • Able to establishes effective working relationships at all levels
  • Have Customer Focused approach
  • Have strong problem-solving skills
