FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT NEEDED TO JOIN A WELL-LOVED HOUSEHOLD BRAND IN LONDON - £65,000A market leading, well known brand in London are looking to recruit a Financial Accountant on a permanent basis. The role will be hybrid with 2 days a week onsite in London and the salary on offer is up to £65,000 per annum plus a very strong benefits package.The Financial Accountant will be responsible for:- Maintaining an array of accounting systems and processes with regards to US GAAP and IFRS standards.- Ensuring full compliance to statutory and company standards on a monthly and annual basis.- Leading the companys statutory accounting processes.- Implementation of financial controls and reporting and ensuring they are followed.- Collating and reviewing mont h end and year end information.- Liaising with a range of stakeholders to understand financial impact and regulations relating to expansion, projects and other international matters.- Completion of balance sheet reconciliations and cashflow forecasts.- Production of monthly accounts including P&L including commentary for senior stakeholders.- Identification of risk and opportunity through review of the financial statements.- Ad hoc duties when required.The ideal Financial Accountant will:- Be fully qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA- Have sound working knowledge and understanding of IFRS and ideally US GAAP standards.- Be willing to commute to London 2 days per week.- Have experience of working in a large/corporate organisation.- Have previous experience of leading statutory accounting processes.- Stakeholder management and liaison experience would be advantageous.The organisation operates on a global scale and are experiencing a strong period of growth and expansion. Through a number of projects, they are expecting the growth to continue for the foreseeable future with an ambitious but realistic 5 year plan. Therole will report into the Senior Financial Controller with a clear progression route into that position.Based in London the business would be looking for the successful Financial Accountant to be able to commute into the office 2 days per week.
