Role: Finance Systems AdministratorContract Length: 3 MonthsRate: £225-250 per day (Outside IR35)Location: London (with remote working)OverviewOur client is on the lookout for a Finance Systems Administrator. The successful candidate will work together with Finance to help maintain live systems and ensure business needs are met. There will be a focus on supporting the Finance team as they stabilisewith their new implementation of D365 F&SCM.The role will be responsible for ensuring that business systems are maintained and supported to the highest quality to allow for future development of additional features and functionality, and for future implementation and integrations of other businesssystems for the organisation such as Oracle for HR and ADP Payroll.They will work closely with the IT Business Systems team to deliver high calibre system reports, analysis, and support. Maintaining excellent data governance and quality will be key.You will be key to supporting and maintaining Dynamics 365, working with finance, human resources, and IT stakeholders to ensure our solution is supported and optimised. You will be technically minded, with a thorough understanding of Finance processes andpractices. You will be comfortable working with all areas of the business to guide, lead and support their use of D365 and other core Business Systems.Main Responsibilities

• Ensure that systems and related processes and controls are functioning effectively and efficiently

• Act as an Administrator and 2nd Line Support for core Finance Systems - D365, Concur (SAP), Longview and other systems onboarded. Either resolve the problem or escalate to the appropriate team member or Managed Service Supplier

• Support the implementation of any other financial systems

• Perform day to day maintenance, support, and housekeeping of business systems
  • Work closely with the IT Service desk to manage users, security roles and permissions
  • Create and/or support the creation of master data across Business Systems
  • Maintain and troubleshoot workflows and batch routines
  • Manage/Support batch uploads for Financial Dimensions, Chart of Accounts and other structural updates
  • Ensure the smooth running of Integration routines between Applications
  • Deliver training to users where required on systems and reporting
• Ensure that all financial systems are operated in accordance with sound financial controls, policies, procedures and regulations; work with I&T to ensure adequate backups and disaster recovery plans are in place
• Manage, maintain, and support integrations between D365 and other Business Systems.
• Identify requirements and problems in the as-built environment and ensure that tasks and requirements are captured and delegated to the appropriate technical resource
• Support the wider organisation with a range of D365 functionalities including personalisation, workspaces, and customisations

Essential Experience

• Extensive knowledge of data processing, business processes and enterprise software applications
• An extensive and in-depth knowledge of D365 F&SCM modules, controls, including Security administration, and processes
• Consolidation and reporting systems experience
• Ability to create, support and troubleshoot Macros e.g. using macros with journals
• Experience in software testing and implementation
• Experience of rolling out and supporting systems across several sites, including overseas locations
• Experience of best practice in ensuring finance systems compliance with financial controls, policies, procedures and regulations
• Experience in training finance staff, creating and using relevant training material
• 3+ years experience with Microsoft Dynamics D365 F&SCM
• Ability to describe and design complex ERP centric solutions
• Exceptional analytic skills with the ability to quickly understand business processes and technical requirements and then combine both for the most appropriate solution
• Experience working with Functional Consultants, Architects, Developers, Data Engineers, DBAs and Report/BI developers

Desirable Experience

• Extensive experience and/or qualifications in the Finance field

• Experience in finance software testing and implementation
