Job Description

Enapps, a fast-growing ERP software company is recruiting a Finance Project Manager to oversee different client projects relating to finance and accounting modules during the implementation of their tailor-made ERP solution. This is an exciting role for a Finance and Accounting professional who would like to develop his/her career in the ERP software industry and join a fast-growing and independent software house.Job Responsibilities (training, guidance and assistance will be provided)

  • Understand user and process requirements, make recommendations against the requirements to ensure effective solution can be delivered
  • Provide accounting demo and accounting system scoping sessions to customers
  • Manage data migrations and ensure all systems and processes with a financial implication are integrated seamlessly
  • Identify and investigate system bugs and work with developers to fix and enhance the system
  • Provide professional advice for ERP tender responses (finance and accounting elements)
  • Continually look for ways to improve the current functionality (working with developers and testers and communicating features and improvements to clients)
  • Deliver system training and onboarding support to users to secure a successful go live
  • Engage in post-go live activities to provide continuous support for customers
  • Write documentation on system features and functions and ensure it’s up to date to support future enhancement
  • Develop and maintain good relationships with customers (accounting user-base)
    • Skills / Experience
  • Previously held a systems focused accounting role with proven experience in ERP implementation/ project management
  • At least 5 years in UK Accounting field, with knowledge on VAT returns, Bank reconciliations, Project accounting (WIP), Stock accounting (GRNI reconciliations), CIS, Accruals/Prepayments, Debtors/Creditors reconciliations
  • University degree or equivalent in Accounting and Finance qualification required (CIMA / ACCA, CPA etc.)
  • Good understanding and practical experience in accounting software: sage50, sage200, xero/ quickbooks, any ERP
  • A confident-advanced excel user (pivots, lookups, ODBC), basic SQL, Report writers
  • Ability to speak Russian/Ukrainian would be an advantage
  • Client focused and patient with customers, a good listener and an ability to "explain the technical to the non-technical"
  • Charismatic enough to do demos occasionally and to be able to develop effective work relations with all levels within organisation -a team player
  • Able to provide innovation when scoping for clients and to provide workarounds where necessary
  • A continuous improvement mindset to investigate improper system behaviour and to develop the system further
  • Ability to work independently on multiple projects/requirements simultaneously, meet deadlines, and properly escalate issues for a timely resolution
  • Strong communication and support/consulting skills, both written and verbal
