Are you looking for a looking for Temporary role in EducationOur client, an Education provider is looking for a temporary Finance Officer with immediate start based in Central London, with a review for permanent based on performance. The finance officer is to work at a Central London Academy on a full-time basis (35hours per week).This is a hybrid role working Monday - Friday , 8.30am – 4.30pmWorking with a Finance Manager in a friendly and supportive environment, your duties would include:• Processing and placing purchase orders• Processing invoices and payments to suppliers• Raising sales invoices to customers and external organisations• Recording sales receipts, grant receipts and income from parents• Administration of our cashless control system, ParentPay• Performing month end reconciliations including nominal ledger, bank, credit card and cashless control system• Monitor and analyse spend on budgets, producing reports on a regular basis• General day to day processing of financial activitiesEssential:• Experience working in an educational setting (preferably secondary school)• Experience using PS Financials accounting software• Experience in Purchase, Sales ledger and Credit ControlDesirable:• Experience using ParentPay software or other cashless control system• Experience using budgeting software for budget monitoring
