Our client is a successful and investing high end luxury SME operating across the retail & ecommerce sectors.This is a broad and interesting Finance Managers position working directly with the FD and senior management team across the group. Within the role you will have the opportunity to work right across the P & L and a gain experience in mainstream, F P & Aand commercial finance activities.As a varied and meaty position within the team, key responsibilities will include the followingManagement of daily and monthly cash scheduling; control of assets base, financing and liaison with the bankStock forecasting, review of stock balances - understanding variances and stock reporting in storeReporting; management accounting and budgetingSupport the FD with financial planning and analysisOverall responsibility of US accounting in the UK, work closely with the US businessLead ongoing improvements to retail financial controlAd hoc project work is a large part of role - examples to include investigation and improvement of margins, delivery costs, on going analysis and commercial supportManagement of a junior accountant (with opportunity for further direct reports) / assist the finance controller with the organisation of all finance department responsibilitiesDirectly support the FD with all ongoing commercial and strategic projects in relation to further ecommerce and international development; wholesale, marketing, retail and others.Applicants must possess a strong academic record; formal accountancy qualificationRetail or consumer related experience would be valuable but not essentialThe role is suited to those already working within commerce and industry or alternatively bright , passionate ACA/ CAs looking for a move from practice who feel ready for a broader and more challenging roleA hands-on, proactive approach as well as exceptional business partnering skills are all key.PLEASE NOTE WE CAN ALSO OFFER SPONSORSHIP FOR THIS POSITION
