S&P Global Market IntelligenceFinance Manager, Revenue workstream/Revenue & ACV Finance teamGrade 11The Role: S&P Global Market Intelligence, the division of S&P Global (NYSE: SPGI) that provides essential intelligence for individuals, companies and governments to make decisions with confidence, is searching for a Finance Manager to lead the Revenueworkstream within the Revenue and ACV team. The Manager will be responsible for all aspects of the Revenue monthly reporting and analysis including day-to-day management of four team members performing the analysis, ensuring proper management reporting andwill report to Finance Director, Revenue and ACV. In addition, Manager will be asked to lead special projects related to Revenue reporting enhancements and automation utilizing Tableau and Alteryx on ad hoc basis. The Impact: This position will work to ensure all monthly Revenue reporting and analysis is delivered timely and accurately to facilitate decision making by the management. They will lead integration with Annualized Contract Value ("ACV") workstreamof the Revenue and ACV team to rely more on technology to further automate various analysis allowing the Revenue and ACV team to spend more time analyzing and understanding business drivers. Whats in it for: The role offers the opportunity to lead Revenue reporting and analysis within our Revenue and ACV team in S&P Global Market Intelligences Finance department. With direct involvement in Revenue reporting there is an opportunity to getexposure to a variety of business partners in the commercial organization. In addition, this role will help lead the transformation of the Revenue workstream and the Revenue and ACV team overall from just being able to focus on reporting to covering both reportingand analytics as we leverage existing technologies to improve processes. What Were Looking For: Detail oriented leader who is capable of executing on day-to-day management while progressing on multiple projects. Strong knowledge of Subscription Revenue is required. Bachelors Degree or higher in quantitative field (Accounting,Finance, Economics, Statistics, Math or related field). CPA is preferred, but not required. 5+ years work experience in public accounting or private accounting or finance department. Experience with Oracle ERP (Fusion) and EPM (Smart View), Salesforce CRM,Salesforce CPQ, Tableau or Power BI, and Alteryx is preferred. Responsibilities:

  • Lead Revenue reporting workstream.
  • Ensure proper review controls and procedures are in place for Revenue reporting.
  • Lead monthly close activities related to Revenue journal entries and monthly Revenue reporting.
  • Ensure proper integration between Revenue and ACV and COS workstreams.
  • Lead transformation of workstream to leverage existing technologies such as Alteryx, Tableau, Power BI to remove and reduce manual processes that currently rely on excel.
  • Support overall business unit reporting requirements. Develop knowledge and understanding of the financial systems that are critical to the reporting process.
  • Prepare analysis for ad hoc requests and special projects and provide direct support to Finance Director responsible for the overall Revenue and ACV team.
Other Accountabilities:
  • Provide thorough and accurate responses to senior management and business leads inquires.
  • Performs ad hoc analyses as requested to help management make informed decisions regarding the short- and long-term objectives of the business.
  • Alert management to reporting or operational problems and suggest actionable solutions.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors Degree or higher in quantitative field (Accounting, Finance, Economics, Statistics, MathMathematics, or related field). CPA is preferred.
  • 5+ years relevant work experience in public accounting or private accounting or finance department.
  • 2+ years work experience leading a team within an accounting or finance department.
  • Strong knowledge of subscription revenue is required.
  • Experience with Oracle ERP (Fusion) and EPM (Smart View), Salesforce CRM, Salesforce CPQ, Tableau or Power BI, and Alteryx is preferred.
  • Possess strong problem-solving skills and the ability to develop and implement innovative solutions for resolving operational and financial problems.
  • Demonstrate investigative research and analytical capabilities necessary to leadership team with accurate and insightful interpretation of financial information.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical ability with an inquisitive mind.
  • Ability to work independently and as a fully contributing member of a team.
  • Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
