Finance Manager - NordicsLondon, £55,000 - £60,000Our client, a market leading global enterprise with a reputation synonymous with originality and excellence, is recruiting for an experienced Finance Manger with a track record in providing technical accounting expertise across the Nordic region (Denmark, Norway and Sweden).On offer is the chance to play a pivotal role in a newly structured finance function that will encourage autonomy and continuous self-improvement.Key responsibilities:*Support the delivery of the year-end audit (Group & Statutory) for the Nordic entities.*Produce the monthly management accounts including cost accruals, accrued/ deferred revenue & associated journals at month end.*Produce and submit monthly/quarterly reporting within deadlines to EMEA Regional Team including detailed analysis and commentary on variances. *Client and Project Accounting including liaison with Project managers and FP&A for calculation of revenue/cost estimates by project *Lead monthly revenue/expense recognition*Responsible for monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations*Support with Monthly / Quarterly Compliance Requirements with external Authorities*Maintenance of inter-company loan schedule with other group entities.*Fixed Assets Ledger maintenance, including review of system depreciation calculations, impairment testing, disposals and reporting. Aside from being competent in all of the above areas, you will be professionally Qualified (CIMA,ACCA,ACA), well versed in liaising with stakeholders at all levels, and be used to dealing with an ever changing remit where new obstacles and challenges become evident on a daily basis. In order to truly excel within this position, our client will require all applicants to be able to either speak Danish (Swedish or Norwegian may be considered) and/or have prepared accounts for a Nordic based entity. Familiarity with the local financial reporting regulations and standards will be essential. The successful candidate will be on-boarded remotely and be able to work from home during this time of uncertainty. Moving forward into more normal times the flexibility in terms of remote working will remain on offer.
